Bedplates and mainframes
The welded frame under the drivetrain. Stress relieved, then machined for the bearing and gearbox interfaces.
Bedplates, nacelle frames, tower sections, transition pieces and the jigs that assemble blades and hubs. Send the drawing; we match it with up to three Vietnamese shops that hold procedures for cyclically loaded work and can reach the coating class the site demands. They quote you directly.

Space frames and brackets that carry the nacelle cover, converter cabinets and service crane.
Rolled and welded cans with bolted flanges, where flange flatness and longitudinal seam quality drive acceptance.
Large fixtures with machined locating faces, built to hold a blade root or hub during bolting and inspection.
Anchor cages, embedment rings and templates delivered to civil contractors ahead of the pour.
Gearbox exchange frames, transport frames and blade root stands.
Typical call-outs for this class of work, credited to the standards that define them. They describe what buyers ask for, not a capability we hold ourselves. The shop that quotes confirms what it can actually meet.
| Execution class | EN 1090-2 EXC3 is common for tower and support steel; state the class on the drawing so the shop can price the inspection |
|---|---|
| Weld standard | ISO 3834-2 quality requirements with procedures to ISO 15614; AWS D1.1 on North American drawings |
| Fatigue | Detail categories per EN 1993-1-9 or IEC 61400-6; DNV-ST-0126 where the support structure is certified |
| Material | S355J2 or S355NL for cold sites, with EN 10204 3.1 certificates traceable to heat |
| NDT | 100% UT on longitudinal and circumferential butt welds in tension; MT on stiffener and bracket toes |
| Coating | ISO 12944 C5 for onshore, C5-M or CX for offshore, on a Sa 2½ blast; duplex galvanise plus paint where specified |
| Flange flatness | Tower flange flatness and gap limits as called out by the turbine OEM, verified by laser tracker before shipment |
Tower cans need plate rolls and an oven long enough for the section. We filter on both before sending the RFQ.
C5-M is a controlled paint shop, not a yard. Shops on this shortlist either hold the line in house or subcontract to a qualified applicator and quote it as one job.
Bedplates are machined after stress relief, sometimes twice. We only match shops with a documented relief cycle and a mill that takes the piece in one setup.
The full five-stage process is public on how we vet. Use it on your own suppliers if that is more useful than sending us the drawing.
Not sure this is the right category for your part? Email the drawing to and we will say plainly where it fits.
Send it with the destination port. Within 24 business hours we tell you which shops clear the envelope, and up to three of them quote you directly.
